We need Girl Scout cookies…
As you may know from one of my precious post, my daughter is selling Girl Scout cookies. We have been at several booths and she is doing quite well for her first time selling.
Many of our family and friends have bought cookies. Some of our frequent places we shop and dine have also purchase cookies. Last night though was different.
As like most of the country, we were home watching the Superbowl game. When I received a phone call, as I looked at the number, it was our favorite pizza place called At’s a Pizza. I was a little perplexed, so I answered the phone. She was calling because she wanted to get more cookies. I laughed and said sure, I can do that for you.
Off we went to the restaurant, sold them 5 boxes and was asked to bring in more. See the flavour they wanted (Thank you Berry munch) I had just sold out.
I will be bringing in the rest this week. My daughter was super happy. They even told her she could set up a booth there this coming weekend…
You might find us this weekend in front of At’s a Pizza. If you live close by, stop by and buy a box…
This needs to be fixed! NOW!
Ok City of Tamarac, I have called and left messages and have spoken with code enforcement about this stupid tree in he back of my house. This tree sits on the land of the Woodmont Country Club.
Someone was supposed to come and take a look. I told them at the time I lived in a gated community. She asked me if she had permission to walk on the property since I wasn’t going to be home. I said yes, this needs to get taken cared of. I get a phone call the following day, that she was not able to get in because I live in a gated community and didn’t have the access code. Really? All the city people have those codes.
I can’t understand why this is such an issue. This is a dead tree and with the fact that we are heading into the peak of hurricane season something needs to be done. If this tree breaks and lands on my house and I have damages or any my children are hurt so help me you will not be happy on the way I will react!
Someone needs to be held liable, someone needs to come out whether it’s code enforcement or someone from the county club, I don’t care, just get it done.

and damages know that I WILL come after you for it!

Tamarac Soccer Registration is here!
OK for all you soccer players, its registration time! Soccer Registration starts today and ends Sept 30. You must go to the Tamarac Community Center to register, located at 8601 West Commercial Boulevard Tamarac, FL 33321 (954) 597-3620.
But understand this, just because that is the end of registration does not mean that it won’t fill up. I waited to get my boys in for basketball because registration ended July 31 and it was full 2 weeks before end date. I won’t make the same mistake twice.
For all my Tamarac friends that I haven’t seen in a while, look forward to seeing you on the field. Let me know if you are signing up your kids. And if there is anyone out there that is willing to volunteer to coach they could use a few more coaches.
We haven’t played for 2 years, the kids are so looking forward to getting back on the field. See you there!

What to do with the kids for the summer? How about the Aquatic Center here in Tamarac? They have a great water section and playground for the kids. I can tell you my kids look forward to going there all the time.
They sell annual passes, if you are looking to buy them instead of purchasing them as you go for adults $73, and kids are $53.
