City of Tamarac Released this news today. This dog park is on the corner of Southgate and University.

DOMINANT DOG BREED SEMINAR:
WHEN: Saturday, September 26, 2009; 4:00pm
FEE: Class is FREE, however advanced sign-up is required!

BASIC DOG OBEDIENCE CLASS:
WHEN: Starts Wednesday, September 30, 2009; 7:00pm to 8:00pm.
FEE: $100.00.
Jumping up, chewing, house training problems, pulling at the leash……sound familiar? Unfortunately, puppies don’t automatically outgrow these types of behaviors; they just grow more entrenched as they grow up. We know you want to enjoy your dog, but sometimes that’s not so easy. This program offers the keys to dealing with all these behaviors and more. The program consists of a six-week class, one hour per week. Limited to 10 dogs.
INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED DOG OBEDIENCE CLASS:
WHEN: Starts Wednesday, September 30, 2009; 8:00pm to 9:00pm.
FEE: $120.00
Our Intermediate Classes focus on communication and trust. It builds on the basic skills. In this class we will begin to introduce real life distractions. These are meant to duplicate situations that occur in your everyday life that your dog may choose not to obey. We will help you to take your dog’s obedience training to the next level.
PUPPY 101 WORKSHOP
WHEN: Friday, October 16, 2009; 6:00pm to 7:30pm
FEE: $10.00.
Puppies are the cutest pets in the world….but they require a lot of attention and care. Learn EVERYTHING you need to know about owning a puppy, but were afraid to ask! This Class will ensure you and your family are puppy-prepared and stress free!
